It is time to start a new chapter here at Tall Oaks Retreat.

The last two years have flown by. So many great weekends and people have come and gone through our doors. Many new friends have been made. It is after great reflection and soul searching that we have decided to take our family on a different path for the future. While we have greatly enjoyed running this business it’s time to look ahead to other opportunities.

Right off we want to assure you that we are not closing the doors. Our business has continued to grow and is not in financial hardship. Tall Oaks Retreat is for sale, but it is our hope to find a buyer with the desire to continue on with the current operation. Someone with the same love of crafting. Maybe you or someone you know would be interested! We will be happy to talk with you about the opportunity in detail.

We will continue to host weekends and rent to groups as we always have. That will not change. We will stay in touch with you and make sure you are aware of any changes as they happen. We thank you all for the support you have given us!

As always Hosted Weekends are $145 + tax, a $25 deposit holds your space and the balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. Your weekend includes five meals, bottled water, milk, coffee, juice and some snacks. Feel free to bring anything additional you would enjoy! There is a refrigerator in the craftroom for your use.

Hosted weekends
$100/person (Jan 29-31, Feb 19-21)

 

Non-hosted weekends
$75/person, with a minimum of three people booking together
 


This discount can not be combined with any other offer or discount. Normal deposits and taxes do apply.  This special does not apply to retreats booked for months March through December.

Tall Oaks will soon be home to a

Yes! We are getting a Cricut Expression!!

 

The Cricut will be hooked up to our computer that has the Design Studio software loaded. There will also be a Juke Box so you can use up to 6 cartridges at once. To start off with we have Plantain Schoolbook, Accent Essentials and Home Decor available. Feel free to bring along yours as well!

 

We will have 2 12×12 mats and extra cutting blades for your use.

Everything should be up and running by our September Hosted Weekend!!

This is a great time to get away for a weekend. Summer is over, school has started and the weather is still nice!

Cost for the weekend is $145/person + taxes and includes Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner and a Sunday brunch. Milk, coffee and some snacks provided. Feel free to bring anything additional that you would like. A refrigerator is available for your use in the craft room.

If you are thinking about coming to one of our Hosted Weekends this fall they are filling up fast! There are only 2 no spots left for Oct 2-4th and 5 spots for Nov 13-15th. There is still plenty of space available for our Dec 4-6th weekend.

 

Also remember, it only takes a group of three people to reserve your own weekend! You may have the place to yourselves or be retreating with another small group. Check our Availability Calendar now to see what dates will work for you!

Sunday Morning Waffle Breakfast & Door Prizes (A free waffle breakfast with all the fixins’ & a chance to win door prizes will be provided to those who activitely participate in the above three activities.)

 

100% of the proceeds from the above activities will go directly towards our fundraising goals for the 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk.
